Hi Mr Chow,
Yes you can still sell your unit when it is going through the Home Improvement Upgrading Programme. The most important thing will be the billing of the programme as SPRs would usually want to avoid paying for this as they are not being subsidised like Singaporeans.
Another concern will actually be viewing comfort. If we were to show the house during the actual works, then we will have to be selective on the viewing timings and also we would want to make sure the house is not too dusty or dirty. There are some buyers who can look beyond the works and picture the finished product but at the same time, there will also be a to of buyers who cannot look beyond the mess and the dust. So all these are consideration factors. We would definitely want the buyers to view the property in the most comfortable environment possible.
