Dear Mr Lee,

You are right. Refinancing of a property refers to switching of bank facility in financing a property that has outstanding loan. For fully paid property, it is considered term loan or equity loan. Do take note that term loan is also subjected to ABSD and that banks may consider term loan as a housing loan therefore affecting plans to purchase the next property in terms of financing. I do come across an interesting package for consumers like yourself and can link you up accordingly with the banker.
