Can I only do bridging loan for the CPF portion?

Hi Kelvin,
There is a formula banks use to calculate how much they can lend you for bridging loan. Perhaps I can do a detailed financial calculation for you so you know what to expect before selling.

Hi there, it really depends on the kind of loan you will be taking for your next HDB purchase. If you are taking a HFE/HLE loan. most owner will go for contra facility. If you are taking out a bank loan, you have the option to go for bridging. that will be included in your LO (letter of offer) when you are applying for your loan. Besides this option we can also choose to time your transaction so that your CPF will flow smoothly into your next purchase without the need to take up the bridging facility.
