Hi,
1) There are 2 points during resale application where you have to be absolute truth in providing information to the HDB:
(a) Submission of resale application.
(b) Endorsement of the document.
2) If there are any hiccups or verification conducted by the HDB found that the information provided is untrue. The whole application will deem void.
3) Do note that you are still under a legal obligation to provide true information even though there is no actual person asking you the question.
4) You are subject to jail/monetary penalty if found to provide untruth information in the process of document/information submission in a buying process.
5) Thus it will be best not to have any changes in your current status until the whole process is completed.
