Unfortunately no, the latest HFE application will overwrite the previous one, only 1 HFE at any one point of time.

I do get what you mean, unfortunately you are unable to do so. If your consideration is coming from the point where you are looking at bigger units and going for BTO as a single will only allow you to get 2 room flat, you may consider going for BTO with your girlfriend as the essential occupier instead, thus leaving her name available in future to purchase a 2nd property without incurring any ABSD. Not sure if what I have interpreted is correct. This HFE with your girlfriend as essential occupier can also apply for resale flats.

Hi,

1) I think the system will detect your 1st HFE when you try to apply for the 2nd one.
2) It is not difficult to design a system to ensure everyone can have only one valid HFE at any one time.
3) It is not difficult to decide once you plan for the future.
4) You should buy a resale if you plan to start a family soonest. The whole buying process (inclusive of the legal process) with current success HFE application rates could take up to 6 to 9 months; 3 months for HFE + 3 months to choose a unit + 3 months of the legal process.
5) If you are not ready to settle down and plan to have another 5~7 years to play around. Then applying for a BTO could be a better choice.
