Can i buy a resale flat with mine sibling or mother?

My mum intend to sell her 3 room flat and will get a sum of money. we intend to use the money to pay for a next house cov but was wondering if at her age 53 years old, and with my age 21 can we buy a resale flat? my mon and dad are not divorce but they are not staying together anymore. thank

Hi Nesshermes,

Yes, you can buy a resale flat with your mother, or with your mother and sibling. But you cannot buy with your sibling only.

If you intend to buy with your mother, you need to ensure that both of you are able to get the required loan to finance the house.

Lastly you mentioned that your mother and father are not divorce, pls take note that as long as they are not divorce, your mother need your father consent and signature if she want to sell or buy any HDB flat.
