Yes its possible. Just that there is one appointment you need to physically attend, which is the HDB completion appointment.
It will be good to appoint a Power of Attorney who can make decisions on your behalr for the purchase.

yes if you can do so if you fulfil the eligibility conditions.

But who will be helping you to view the prospective units? Do take note wet ink is still required for property transactions in Singapore, this can be easily overcome by courier services. But your physical presence is required for completion if you feel that you might not be able to attend, you may opt to engage a power of attorney.

By the way do bear in mind that minimum occupation period will only kickstart when you physically occupy the unit. You wont be able to rent out rooms if you are not staying inside or whole unit unless special approval is obtained from HDB.

Yes, you can, provided you meet the eligibility conditions under one of the many HDB Eligibility Schemes, i.e Public Scheme, Single Scheme etc.

Do take note that you will be required to serve the 5-year MOP for the HDB flat before you can sell or rent out the whole unit. For MOP to count, you will have to physically occupy the unit and not leave it vacant.

Hi Ivis,

1) Yes, you may do so as long as you have a Singpass. You can apply for one online if you did not already have this.
2) The only time you need to be physically present is at the HDB completion appointment.
3) You also have an option of appointing a POA to represent you to attend the HDB completion appointment.
