Can I buy a 6 year old EC (after its MOP) without selling my HDB?

Hi,
Yes its possible as long as the MOP of your HDB is met. Do note however you will need to pay 20% ABSD as its the 2nd property purchase, on top of the buyer stamp duties of approx 3% to 4% and purchase price.

Yes, you can if you have fulfilled your MOP for your HDB. You will be subjected to the relevant ABSD though base on whether you are a SC or SPR. Only SC and SPR will be eligible to purchase a 6 years old EC for your information.

Yes of course ABSD will be payable as the resale EC is going to be your 2nd property. If you are a local citizen, then the total stamp duty payable will be at 24% which is a hefty sum to pay. I can be contacted at 9730 8455 and may you have a good week ahead.
