Can I ask, if my wife and I did not change the official address of our ICs when we bought our HDB flat directly from HDB 5 years ago, will this affect our MOP calculation? Ie. Will HDB only count the time we occupy the flat only when our IC reflects the address or from the time we took our keys? It should be from the time we took our keys correct?

Also we would like to rent our HDB out as we have completed the MOP. Can I confirm if S&C charges are to be borne by tenant or landlord? An agent was telling me like private condo, this is borne by landlord but I read somewhere earlier this is otherwise, so I am quite confuse now.

Dear owner,

The fastest way to find out if you have meet your MOP will be to call HDB direct to find out. As for the S&CC, it is up to both parties agreement on who is to pay for it before entering into the tenancy agreement.

Afternoon,

Changing address on your IC after moving into new residence is required by law. However, HDB calculate your MOP from time of key collection. For the exact data, you will have to check with HDB.
As for the SC&C charges for rental, it's all down to mutual agreement, as per stated in the rental agreement.
