Hi Jasmine,

As long as your MOP is fulfilled, you can apply for the new BTO project as long as you met all other eligibility conditions such income ceiling not to exceed $14k per month, have not bought more than 2 subsidized flats and SC/SPR household. However as BTO projects are often oversubscribed, the chances of getting an unit for 2nd timers are quite slim. If this is going to be the 2nd subsidized flat, a resale levy will be payable as well when your new flat is ready.

Yes, you may actually apply for the BTO given that you have met the MOP for your current flat. Important consideration will be your interim housing options since you are planning to sell now and the BTO flat is likely only going to be ready in a few years time. In addition, if you have utilised any housing grant for your current flat, or if this is also a BTO unit when you purchased, you will also be subjected to resale levy for a successful application on your next BTO.
