Good evening,

If you are able to apply for BTO if your existing flat is a resale flat and you didnt take any housing grant. On top of that the TOP date of the BTO must be after the MOP date of current flat.

Hi,

This is under HDB rules and regulations. Everyone has to fulfilled MOP before allowed to apply for new BTO.
Thus inculding successful application + number of built, you should have stay in your existing flat for around 10 years by then.

This is also to ensure for those who desparately needed a roof to build their family has a chance to secure a flat during your 5 years MOP, when you already have a place for yourselves.

    I just checked with hdb. They said that if I did not take any grant, I can apply for BTO during MOP, but the Delivery of Possession Date (DPD) of the BTO must come after the last day of MOP and the DPD date will be published during launch. In a sense, YT Tan is correct.
