Technically speaking no, however, is there any specific clauses within the estate agency agreement you have signed with to indicate that commission maybe applicable or perhaps reimbursement of the marketing costs if the property is withdrawn from sale without substantial reason? There are some owners out there who are putting up their units for sale to test the market, and when it matters they withdraw the listing from sale, but agents who have worked on it could have spend quite a fair bit of marketing fees. From January to July itself, I have already expanded over $25,000 worth of advertising fees just on PropertyGuru alone. That is how significant it is when it comes to advertising now.
