Hi,

Unfortunately, you need to purchase the hdb in joint name as married couple. Once that happens, the MOP kicks in which means you can't purchase condo for the next 5 years.
You can consider new EC if you intend to buy for stay and investment considerations.

Good afternoon,

If you are looking at getting a resale HDB unit and a private property after been married, it is still possible. You can opt to purchase the unit with your spouse as essential occupier. You will also have to fulfill the MOP requirement before you can opt to purchase for the next property under your spouse name.
