BTO itself is already subsidised, therefore in such a scenario, you will need to appeal to HDB.

Good afternoon,

Buying BTO projects direct from HDB is considered buying subsidized housing as it is priced below market rate (defined by HDB), hence your chances of getting BTO will be slim. You may wish to consider resale HDB or resale EC instead if your plans are urgent.

Hi,

1) If you apply as both owners, I would be afraid the chance of approval is very slim.
2) You may submit an appeal before the application so as not to waste your chance.
3) If you apply as the sole owner (2nd timer) and occupier (3rd timer), then it will not be an issue on the eligibility.
4) Unless you need both of your salaries to take into account for the loan, then your only choice is to put up an appeal to the HDB directly.
5) You may put up a 2nd appeal with the MP's letter to try if the first appeal did not go through successfully.
