Can a divorcee buy 4 or 5 room resale hdb flat?

Hi
As long you are a Singaporeans aged 35 and above, you can buy a resale flat. If you are below 35 but have children under your custody, you are still eligible to purchase a resale flat under public scheme. You are also eligible for grant if you are a first timer. Yes if you are single Singaporean 35 years and above, you can purchase resale hdb. If you are divorcee with custody of children, and below 35 years old, you can also purchase resale flat under Public Scheme.

Basically you need to fulfil either one of the 2 criteria, then you will be able to buy your resale flat regardless of the flat type.
First of all, if you are a Singaporean and you are also 35 years or older, then you will be eligible. If you are below 35 years old, then you will need to have children and the children will need to be under your custody. In the event of a joint custody, then you will need to have the care and control before you qualify.
My partner who is also my wife, together with myself, we have handled many divorce cases in our career. This is really nothing to be specially proud of but it just so happens that one case after another approached us and in the end we raked up quite some experience serving this group of clients in their sell and buy. So I can say we are quite familiar with handling such deals in this aspect.
Maybe what I can suggest is that maybe you can meet up with me and my partner and we can take this opportunity to guide you through. If you are comfortable with us, then maybe we can talk this house journey together with you. Just last week we have just assisted a buyer to purchase a HDB 4 room flat in Bishan and we managed to negotiate the price $50,000 below the asking price. After the deal was sealed, our buyers brought their parents to view the house that they bought and everyone was very happy with the house.
