Good afternoon! You can rent out your place as long as you have fulfilled the MOP if not, you have to appeal to your HDB branch office that is in charge of your unit. FYI only SPR household (both are SPRs) are not allowed to rent out their whole unit. Hope it helps! Hi, as you bought your HDB in 2009. You should have completed the MOP, if you have already stayed 2.5 yrs (using HDB loan) and 1 yr (if taking bank loan), you are allowed to rent out the whole unit with HDB approval. Morning, With your unit being purchased in 2009, you might have fulfilled the required MOP, depending on your loan type and if you have taken grant. Since your family structure comprise of one SC, you can apply for rental of whole unit, along with supporting documentation from your company. Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.
