Investment and own stay considerations can be quite distinctly different as it affects your own lifestyle for the difference in location.

If I am coming from an investment perspective, my considerations will be if the existing entry price is considered at recent market pricing or below. Further than that, I will also examine future potential of the development, whether are there going to be even more similar units in the future where an increase in supply is going to erode my potential returns. It is also important to determine how many resale transactions have taken place over say 6 months to 1 year to determine the resale potential in future. Valuation of property may increase, but if they cannot be sold, they are only paper value where you get no benefit from the appreciation.

I have been in the real estate business since 2009, with more than 10years of experience serving the Singapore real estate market.

I am very active in the residential segment of Singapore real estate market, having transacted hundreds of deals from HDBs to private condominiums and landed properties in Singapore, and have handled many unique cases in sales and purchases as well as rental deals.
