Based on this scenario:

Guy owns a resale HDB yet to MOP
Lady owns a resale HDB; achieved MOP
Getting married this year
- Before marrying, can the lady sell off the resale HDB and then purchase a condo?
- After marrying, the lady's name needs to be listed as an occupier in the guy's HDB flat.

Can the condo be kept and rented out or need to sell since the lady's name is listed as occupier?

If MOP is not met when married, then the spouse will likely be required to dispose the condo, if not the HDB. do check out directly with HDB. Read More

Hi,

To my understanding if the MOP of HDB of one spouse is not met at point of marriage, then the private property of the other spouse has to be sold off and cannot keep both properties. It is best to check with hdb on this as they have the sole discretion in such scenarios.
