Happy new year to you, seller!

Do take note that you have to dispose off your private property and observe a waiting period of 30 months before you are eligible to apply for BTO.

In addition, you have to be a Singaporean and at least 35 years old in order to be eligible to purchase a HDB as a single.

If you qualify under single scheme but doesn't want to wait that long, probably you can consider a resale Hdb.

After selling your private property, you have to wait out a 30-month period before you can apply for BTO again. If you cannot wait, you may want to get a resale flat instead. Hi, you will have to wait for a period of 30 months to apply for the BTO after selling the condo. If you need a lodging right away after selling the condo, then I'm afraid purchasing a resale HDB will be the only option.

Hi Sir,

For single, you will only be eligible for a 2 room BTO flat. Moreover, after selling your private property, you will need to wait out a period of 30 months before you are eligible to apply.

My suggestion is to get a resale flat in a good location. it can be a 3 room or 4 room flat. You may occupy one of the rooms and rent the other rooms out so as to generate a passive income every month.

You are only eligible to purchase BTO unit after 30 months from selling of your private property, within non-matured estate. This is also provided that you fulfill the requirements on the purchase of HDB unit.
