BTO is considered subsidised flat. If you wish to enjoy another subsidised flat (BTO, Resale HDB with grants or EC), you are required to pay a resale levy.

I do understand you are second timer while hubby is first timer. I will advise you to email HDB to clarify on your grant eligibility for confirmation before proceeding.

Hi Phylicia,

1) Basically, housing grant for HDB flat is only available to Singapore Citizen (SC). There are certain conditions that need to fulfil in order to be eligible.
2) I'll list 2 situations that are eligible for a grant and might fit your condition.
(a) Married SC couple.
(b) Married SC + SPR (Singapore Permanent Resident) couple
3) First time buying an HDB flat or ever bought a resale HDB flat but didn't receive any grants.
4) If you fit conditions (2) & (3), then you are eligible for housing grants when buying the resale HDB flat.
