Anyone have any appeal letter to HDB regarding the payment of 50% of cash proceed?

As for my case, am getting HLE from HDB and need to pay 50% of cash proceed to HDB. But i can't afford to fork out, that why need to appeal.

If i can fork out the 50% cash proceed, i don't have to take the HDB Loan liao.

Anyone have the same situation?

I already email HDB on last Thurday for the appeal but still haven't receive the outcome yet.

Hi Jansen,

I understand your concerns. This is a HDB rule, that all second-timers taking a HDB loan for a second time would need to plough back half of their cash proceeds from the sale of their first subsidized HDB flat.

May I know at what stage are you for your sale and purchase?

Hi Jansen,

I am unsure of your existing situation in terms of financing your next property, however, most of the time, the best way forward to seek a clearer picture and expedite appeal process can be a visit to HDB office.

As Robbie has mentioned, this is 1 of the rule implemented by HDB where 50% of the cash proceeds must be utilised for their next purchase under HDB loan, which is a reason why I have encountered a number of clients who have opted to look into bank loan instead, as they are able to retain a bigger portion of the cash proceeds with 75% loan.
