Any agents here has experience in Transfer of Ownership (not through sale) of a HDB flat? My question is: 1) Does the outgoing owner needs to refund back to CPF the grant and repay existing loan before transfer? 2) After the transfer, will HDB slap the new owner with a fresh MOP?

Transfer cases can only be done on case by case basis and has no outright outcome that we can speak about. For all transfer of properties, as long as there is an element of CPF funds usage, the amount must be refunded to the outgoing owner inclusive CPF. This amount can be derived by checking the CPF statement. Whether a fresh MOP is required or not should be subjected by HDB decision. Please approach HDB for clarification and advise.

Hi,

Transferring of ownership is a case to case basis especially when it involves a HDB flat. So I would suggest that you contact the HDB branch officer of your estate and to consult him or her further.
