You will be required to wait out a period of 15 months before you are eligible to purchase a resale HDB, unless both you and your spouse are age 55 years old or above, then you are eligible to consider purchasing a 4 room resale HDB or smaller unit. For SPR, you can only take up bank loan.

Hi,

Unless you are 55 years old and above, you need to wait out 15 months after selling the private property before you are eligible to purchase the resale HDB. For SPR households, they can only apply bank loan for resale HDB. Do note 5% ABSD also applies for the residential property purchase.

Hi,
A wait out period of 30 months is needed if you want to buy a resale HDB. However, if you and your spouse are 55yo and above, you guys are eligible to consider purchasing a 4 room HDB resale or smaller unit.

1) You only need to observe a 15-month wait-out period for a resale HDB flat.
2) You shall be excused from the restrictions if both of you are 55yrs or older.
3) I'm afraid you are not eligible for HDB HLE as an SPR.
