The bank should be able to come up with letter of offer within 3 days or so if all necessary documents are submitted and the source of income has no ambiguity. In the event of ABL, the time could be longer. Hope this helps! Read More

Meanwhile, you may also want to standby your lawyer to support with the exercise and completion.

Hi,

1) The period for a bank to provide a letter of offer could be vary dependent on bank and the completeness of document provided by the applicant.
2) The earliest I have encountered was within 5 working days, and the longest was 10 working days.
3) You might have to urge the banker to expedite the process if the due date of exercising is coming close.
4) Most of the banks will required the following document to facilitate the home loan application:
(a) NRIC for Singaporeans/PRs
(b) Latest 3 months' payslips
(c) Latest Notice of Assessment from IRAS
(d) 12 months CPF contribution History
(e) OTP
(f) Valuation report
(g) Existing home loans if applicable
(h) credit cards
(i) car loans
(j) Personal loans
