1. Can I do a resale transaction (selling existing and buying a new property) when my home loan is still within lock in period?

2. If the answer is yes for the question above, can I "transfer" the existing home loan to the new property?

Morning,

You are eligible to sell your HDB if your mortgage loan is still within lock-in period but you must have fulfilled the MOP requirement. Do note that administration fee and penalty charges will apply. To transfer your current mortgage to your new purchase, my bankers might be the best person to assist you accordingly.

Dear sir/madam,

As long as you have fulfilled your Minimum Occupation Period, you will be able to sell your resale HDB, even within the lock in period, but subjected to the prevalent penalties setforth by the banks. You may wish to explore about the transferral of existing homeloan to your newly purchased property as this is out of our scope as a real estate salesperson to answer. If you wish to speak to a banker, do let me know such that I can get a banker to give you a call.
