Looking for an affordable condo within or close to Singapore’s famous shopping belt of Orchard is no easy feat, given the whooping price tags of homes located in this prime location.
In fact, living in District 9 or the Orchard / River Valley area does not just put you close to the best malls here, but also near the most prestigious schools in the city-state. Residing within this sought-after location also means that you’re within walking distance to not just two, but three MRT stations.
Given that homes here typically fetch over S$1 million even for 1-bedroom condo, we curated a list of 12 affordable condominiums where you can purchase a home for under that sky-high price.
Essentially, our curated list of the 12 most affordable condo in Orchard (District 9) for 2018 all have a maximum price of S$1 million, and there should be at least two available units for sale with different prices (up to S$1mil only) and sizes among the listings for a particular project.
However, be warned that all of these units are small and there are only a maximum of two-bedroom condos at several projects within this price range, and most are one-bedders. Nonetheless, all of the listed project are either freehold or 999-year leasehold.
A clarification: in this article when we say Orchard Road condo, it isn’t necessarily within the famous shopping belt, but could be within District 9 or the Orchard area. It can also mean an apartment due to the similarities between these properties.
