Boasting Japanese designs, the 99-year leasehold project will sit atop The Woodleigh Mall and enjoy connectivity to Woodleigh MRT Station as well as an air-conditioned underground bus interchange.

The Woodleigh Residences, a premium integrated development project by Japanese real estate developer Kajima Development and Singapore Press Holdings (SPH), will be launched for sale this Saturday (11 May).

Boasting Japanese designs, the 99-year leasehold project will sit atop The Woodleigh Mall and enjoy connectivity to Woodleigh MRT Station as well as an air-conditioned underground bus interchange.

It will feature two-, three- and four-bedroom units with prices starting from $1,733 per sq ft. This is lowered from its starting price of $1,909 per sq ft, cited at its preview last October.

“SPH is pleased to work with Kajima to offer The Woodleigh Residences. As Bidadari’s only integrated development, and with the new plans announced for the Bidadari estate, this development is the jewel of Bidadari,” said SPH chief executive officer Ng Yat Chung.

Bidadari is envisioned as the city-state’s first “community in a garden” under the 2014 URA Master Plan, with the 10ha Bidadari Park offering green community spaces, while retaining Bidadari’s heritage.

“Over the years when units got smaller in Japan, the industry has developed many Japanese techniques and technologies to make smaller spaces “bigger” – efficient space maximisation. The Singapore real estate market in the recent years, albeit later than Japan, has started to build smaller units, and we believe that with our proven experience from Japan, we can bring these efficient space maximisation technologies to enhance the living experience in Singapore,” said Kajima Corporation executive vice-president Keisuke Koshijima.

In November 2018, the joint developers of The Woodleigh Residences released 50 units during its soft launch, 30 of which found buyers. The healthy response prompted them to release 50 more units for sale.

Situated beside Nex Shopping Mall, The Woodleigh Residences’ sales gallery is open between 10am and 7pm.

Located between Serangoon and Kallang, the upcoming Bidadari estate will be a quiet and comfortable area with plenty of housing developments and transportation links. Get more insights on Bidadari with our AreaInsider series.
