Prices of completed condominiums and apartments in Singapore edged up by 0.2 percent in April, after remaining flat in March, according to latest flash estimates of the NUS Singapore Residential Price Index (SRPI). This comes as the central region saw prices, excluding small units, increased by 1.4 percent.
In March, prices within the region inched up by 0.1 percent.
Prices in the non-central region, however, dropped 0.6 percent, which is steeper compared to the 0.1 percent fall registered in March.
The central region sub-basket comprises properties located in postal districts 1 to 4 as well as 9 to 11, while properties in the other postal districts fall under the non-central region sub-basket.
Meanwhile, prices of small units measuring 506 sq ft or below dipped by 0.4 percent, just like in March.
