Featuring over 150 rooms operated as serviced apartments, the property will also come with a swimming pool, gym and an all-day in-house Cafe concept. It will have over 150 units of serviced apartments and will be the largest dedicated co-living property of Hmlet in Singapore to-date.

Co-living company Hmlet has partnered with real estate group LHN to design and renovate its new property within the Tanjong Pagar/Cantonment Downtown CBD precinct.

This comes after the tender for the rental of the state property was awarded by the Singapore Land Authority to LHN Facilities Management, which is an indirect subsidiary of LHN.

To feature over 150 rooms operated as serviced apartments, the property will be the largest dedicated co-living property of Hmlet in Singapore to-date.

It is located at 150 Cantonment Road and nestled on a 76,002.5 sq ft site. With a gross floor area of 47,352.12 sq ft, the property is set to open in July.

“With Hmlet leading the design input, LHN will build additional facilities such as a swimming pool, gym and an all-day in-house Cafe concept,” said Hmlet in a statement.

“This partnership is a showcase of Hmlet’s capability in partnering with established real estate players like LHN to efficiently reposition and value add to the property and unlocking the full potential of the building.”

It noted that the tender for the property was aligned with the government’s plans to build new houses within the CBD and rejuvenate office developments into mixed-use buildings.

“We are excited to be announcing our largest building in Singapore dedicated entirely to co-living with established real estate players like LHN,” said Hmlet CEO and co-founder Yoan Kamalski.

“We are seeing a growing demand for more co-living options in Singapore, and look forward to offering the great services that Hmlet has become known for to even more members.”

The new property will see Hmlet increase its number of members to over 2,400 across Asia Pacific by end-2019.
