UPDATED: Property consultancy Knight Frank Singapore has appointed Nicholas Keong as new head of residential for its international project marketing team with effect from 1 March, reported the Business Times.

Keong would be taking over the role from Linda Chern, who has since taken up a new role as Head of Residential (Prime Sales and Corporate Leasing) at the firm.

Keong was previously from JLL, where he spent six years in international project marketing, building investor ties, leading regional initiatives and strategising returns on overseas property portfolios.

As international residential marketing head, he is expected to grow the team and expand Knight Frank’s international project marketing business by building on its foundations across markets like the UK, Australia, US, the Middle East, Europe and Japan.

His responsibilities also include securing new overseas appointments, business development, as well as formulating strategies to market and sell residential properties abroad.

Danny Yeo, chairman and group managing director of Knight Frank Singapore, believes Keong will add strength to the team given that investors continue to look overseas for holiday homes, second homes or investment assets for the future.
