CapitaLand announces key executive appointments

Ronald Tay Boon Hwee appointed as chief executive officer of CapitaLand Singapore.

CapitaLand announced on Tuesday (25 April) several key executive appointments aimed at supporting “the next phase of leadership and business excellence” within the group.

These include the appointment of Ronald Tay Boon Hwee as chief executive officer of CapitaLand Singapore; Wen Khai Meng as senior advisor of group strategy at CapitaLand Limited and Wilson Tan Wee Yan as deputy chief executive officer of CapitaLand Mall Asia.

Tay is currently the chief executive officer of Ascott Residence Trust Management Limited (ARTML), while Wen and Tan are currently the chief executive officer of CapitaLand Singapore and chief executive officer of CapitaLand Mall Trust Management Limited (CMTML), respectively.

Meanwhile, Tony Tan Tee Hieong, who currently serves as senior vice president, CEO’s Office, CapitaLand Mall Asia, was also appointed as chief executive officer of CapitaLand Mall Trust Management Limited, while Beh Siew Kim, who is currently the deputy CEO of ARTML, was named as chief executive officer of Ascott Residence Trust Management Limited.

“CapitaLand proactively reviews the roles of management to ensure renewal of talent bench strength. These key leadership appointments reflect the depth and strength of CapitaLand’s management team, enabling us to provide executives with appropriate development opportunities to acquire and develop new skills and capabilities required of CapitaLand’s transformation journey,” said CapitaLand Limited president and group CEO Lim Ming Yan.

“They are proven leaders who have demonstrated exemplary management capabilities over the years and a track record of accomplishments that have contributed to the group’s strong business performance.”
