Park Place Residences at Paya Lebar Quarter (PLQ) has received three interior design awards for its stylish residential show suites, announced its developer Lendlease on Wednesday (24 January).
In particular, the two-bedroom show suite obtained the prestigious International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Global Excellence Award 2017. It also clinched two accolades for outstanding design from the Interior Design Confederation Singapore (IDCS) during the Interior Design Excellence Awards (DEA) last year.
“We are delighted to have won three awards for the outstanding design of Park Place Residences show suite together with Index Design,” said Ng Hsueh Ling, Lendlease’s Managing Director for Singapore and Chief Investment Officer for Asia.
The developer hired and worked with Singapore-based interior design firm Index Design to embellish and give an elegant look to the sample units shown during the launch of Park Place Residences at PLQ last March.
“We are honoured to be part of the journey with our like-minded client, Lendlease to win three outstanding design awards. We collaborated closely with Lendlease to express our creativity and focus on principles of good design and flexible use of space, ultimately achieving a unique and personal experience for visitors,” said Index Design Managing Director Angelena Chan.
Notably, the 429-unit Park Place Residences is the residential component of the 4ha Paya Lebar Quarter, an integrated development that is anticipated to transform the area into a vibrant regional hub.
Directly connected to the dual MRT lines at Paya Lebar, the large-scale project also features a standalone mall with more than 200 shops and about 340,000 sq ft of overall retail space. There’s also three grade A office towers with nearly 1 million sq ft of next-generation workspaces.
