iNz Residence, Singapore’s first executive condominium (EC) project with internet-ready smart homes, attracted keen interest during its opening weekend, with more than 1,800 people visiting its sales gallery and 450 e-applications received.

Most visitors said they were drawn to the 497-unit project’s proximity to Tengah, which is being planned as a “Forest Town”, as well as the future Jurong Lake District.

“They were also excited at the prospect of smart living – being able to control their entire home with one touch through a hiLife smart panel,” revealed its developer Qingjian Realty in a statement.

The first EC project to launch this year, iNz Residence comprises homes that come with security smart features such as smart digital locksets, smart contact sensors and smart motion sensors, as well as energy efficient trackers like smart energy meters and smart temperature sensors.

With a video intercom system at lift lobbies, homeowners at iNz Residence will also be able to see their guests before allowing them to enter the lifts.

All these features are synced and controlled via the hiLife smart panel, which can also be accessed on smart mobile devices.

“Show units at the iNz Residence sales gallery will feature the hiLife smart panel, which demonstrates how the smart home system can be personalised to control the home according to individual preferences,” noted Qingjian Realty.

“Those interested in Qingjian Realty’s CoSpace concept will also be able to see how flexible living spaces can be fully utilised to suit their evolving needs at different stages of their lives.”

E-applications for the project will remain open till 5 March, while bookings for the units start on 11 March.

iNz Residence is expected to be completed by 2019.
