As part of a series of events held during the Singapore Construction Productivity Week, the inaugural Architecture and Built Environment 2013 opened its doors today at the Singapore Expo Hall 4. Catering to the construction industry, the tradeshow runs till 2 August and showcases 180 exhibitors from 18 countries.
Organised by Sphere Exhibits and supported by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), four shows will run simultaneously, namely BuildTechAsia2013, InterDecAsia 2013, AsiaLighting2013 and FacilitiesManagementSolutionsExpo2013.
Elaine Chia, General Manager of Sphere Exhibits, said: “The show will meet the industry’s demand for more cost effective, faster and more sustainable building solutions.”
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, was the guest of honour at the show’s opening ceremony this morning.
