Singapore-based developer Soilbuild Group Holdings has signed a joint venture agreement to develop a luxury condominium in Yangon, media reports said.

This is believed to be the company’s first overseas property project and it plans to sell apartments at the 250-unit condominium at US$300 (S$380) psf to US$350 (S$443) psf, with sizes ranging from 1,500 sq ft to 1,700 sq ft.

Located along Kabaraye Pagoda Road, one of Yangon’s main arterial roads, the high-end project is one of several high-rise developments being launched in the city.

The project is also expected to stand out from other property developments in Yangon due to higher specifications, such as Burmese teak in the bedrooms and imported marble in the living room, said Daniel Ding, Director for Business Development and Investment at Soilbuild.
