We went to a viewing today and wanted to make an offer for a unit but because viewing only ends at 5pm, we were told to wait for the sms to confirm. we waited and there were no SMS and we called the agent, he told us he was about to send the sms on the final price and the deal will go to the first caller, but because we called before the sms was sent, we were barred from calling for the first 15 mins after the sms was sent. We got a penalty because we called in early to close the deal. Is this the industry norm ??
