The owner and his agent accepted us to rent a flat I found here in property guru. Is it correct that the agent asked us to pay his commission? Thnks

Morning Elise,

Once the TA have being signed, it means that the landlord is agreeable with your intention for the tenancy. Under the CEA ruling, since the salesperson is representing the landlord, the salesperson can only collect commission from his landlord.

Thank you so much. I will look for this CEA Ruling and I hope the agent will not give us any trouble if I did not pay his commission.
