Hi,

"Better choice" has to be in the context of your objectives and requirements. May I know is it for capital appreciation or own stay? Different requirements will probably yield different conclusions. Although I would say Parc Riviera is closer to where all the infrastructure & growth plans (jurong regional centre) will be in the next 10-15 years.

have you heard of the resale curse?

For instance, owners A and B purchased the unit at $1000psf. You purchase from owner A at $1300 psf.

When you and owner B want to sell, which party will be in at advantage? you or owner B?

Owner B can make a profit by selling at $1000 to $1300 psf but you have to sell above $1300 psf.

Let's be realistic. Every owner including myself will wish to have capital appreciation in property we buy. If so, why buy a property that capital appreciation has been already enjoyed by first owner?

Thus developer unit might be a better choice where every single owner starts at a fair ground.

If you manage to secure a below value resale unit, your gains are technically immediate instead of having to wait for market to appreciate.
