Good morning buyer,

You will be eligible to purchase a resale HDB under non citizen spouse scheme with your foreigner spouse as an occupier right now.

Even though your spouse is a foreigner, IRAS will grant you ABSD exemption as it treats this purchase as your matrimonial home.

Do take note that for this scheme, only your income will be taken into consideration for mortgage application.

In the future when she turns SPR, you can apply for her to be one of the owner so you can use her CPF OA funds to pay the mortgage repayment.

Hope my sharing is beneficial to your property purchase.

May I know how can I continue to value add in this purchase?

Warmest Regards,

Hi,

If its your 1st matrimonial home and under the non-citizen spouse scheme, you can apply for ABSD remission with IRAS, where ABSD can be waived.

Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans further.
