My parents co-owned and sold a flat 14 years ago and are subject to a resale levy if they buy a new flat today. If i buy the BTO flat with my mother who is a former owner of a BTO flat, will i still have to pay the resale levy as only one of them is a former owner of a hdb flat?

Morning,

Yes, you will still be liable for HDB resale levy as both of you are applying for new subisdized unit. Under the old scheme, resale levy is computed by percentage and subjected to interest for amount unpaid, from the date of sales completion.
