my house have not been sold for 3mths.i already sign docs with my existing agent.can i change to other agent?i'm thinking that my agents is like taking his own sweet time,as i need to sell my house fast because need to register my sons primary 1 registration to the new school.

Hi seller,

You must be referring to the exclusive agreement. This agreement can be cancelled via verbal communication to your agent and informing his/ her agency.

I will recommend to have a chat with your respective agents before proceeding on any decision. Find out what's wrong and why are the reason for not being able to sell your unit. It could lies with your asking price?

Dear owner,

Having kids myself, I do feel the importance of getting ready for P1 registration. Nevertheless, has your appointed salesperson provide you with any feedback on buyers and issues?

It is important for the appointed salesperson to update the status in marketing the unit to their respective clients, since clients have entrusted the rights solely to the salesperson if they are on exclusive basis.

My way of working is to report back weekly on the past weeks efforts and responses from buyers as well as cobroke salesperson such that my client understands the entire situation.

Have a good talk with your appointed salesperson to understand what is behind the issue of unable to sell after 3 months. If you are unhappy with his explanations on top of performance, you are always free to terminatte the salesperson's services and engage another salesperson, but do give your existing salesperson a chance to explain and buck up, although I'd very much love to be the next salesperson assisting you.

If you have read your exclusive, you are eligible to terminate your salesperson's services with immediate effect via verbal or written notice. There are salesperson who wants exclusive so that they can work at their own pace coz many home owners do not understand or read the clauses within the exclusive documents.
