It's true that owners avoid us and buyers are hard to handle. Nobody said that this industries is easy. Nobody like to be pestered. Buyers and Sellers are getting smarter. Catch them by their needs and understand their wants, will bring you closer to them.
Hard selling or projecting unprofessional ethic will only drive them further from you.

Not very nice to say this, but the truth is, it really depends on which agency's namecard you are holding. I've never encounter any owner who avoided me once I give them my namecard. In fact, they want to know more about our company's view of the market and they want research report from me.

Then again, every agency has a positioning in the market and you should focus on the market segment that your agency is strong in for a start. If you stay with your current agency, you have to renew your mindset. Reject the idea that owners are avoiding you. A positive mindset will draw people to you.
