Is a tenancy agreement considered valid and legal if the stamp duty is not done?
Is there a link on any official government site?

I stay in a condo and rent a room and my agent said there is no need.
I want everything to be legal and protect myself.
Can anything happen to me if there is no stamp issued.

Please help, cause I am new here

If the agreement is not being stamped,it may may not be contractual in the view of law.So insist on stamping of agreement as it's an offence not to declare to IRAS.
it's TENANTS DUTY to stamp and if the agent not aware,do free to call me as you should protect your interest.
