Interested to buy a resale condo, when & how much % cash and other fees does i need to pay to seller or property agent. Any difference in resales vs new condo (like bank loan period, loan interest, downpayment, legal fee, agent fee, stamp fee...etc)

Can i request for valuation for a interested unit? any charges for that?

Hi Charlotte,

There will be a 1% finders' fees for the agent representing you in the search of properties.

For resale vs uncompleted projects, there will be a slight difference in the downpayment timeline. All other fees and as you have mentioned remained same.

You can request for valuation to be done but i would suggest that there is not a need as long as the agent is able to get the bank's indication on the valuation of that unit. This indication is important as it will determine the loan that you are entitled to and also the cash the you might need to chalk out.
