if i own a private property and inherit a hdb from my parents (purchased before Aug 30 2010 and MOP already fulfilled), am i able to rent out the flat and stay in my private property? i have read that in such cases, the inheritor must stay in the HDB if he wishes to retain both properties. however, i also read that after MOP has been fulfilled, i am able to rent out the HDB. these 2 points seem to be in conflict with one another.
