I have rented & move into a 3200sq ft apt for 3 mths. Since day 1, we found air con leaking problems and acknowlegde by agent. Also learnt the ex-tenant moved out due to the same problem. To fix it, they hv to hack the ceiling. Since our furniture are expensive pcs, contractor has suggested we get movers to pack it & we take a 10 days accommodation elsewhere. Agent has not been working on our issues & today sent me an email that if I am not satisfy, she is more than happy to return the deposit & terminate the contract. My issues are very simple...is not a small apt we hv rented and that means we have lots of furniture. Also I have a 3 yr old kid & a late 70s mum staying w us. Moving is alot work & stress for all of us. So legally, what should I do?
