1 Check the Sale and Purchase Agreement
The agreement will state the Vacant Possession Date or Temporary Occupation Permit date
Developers usually have up to five years from land purchase to complete the project
2 Look up the Temporary Occupation Permit or Certificate of Statutory Completion status
You can check if the condo has obtained approval on the Building and Construction Authority website or through the developers updates
Once Temporary Occupation Permit is issued you can usually collect keys and move in after defects checks
3 Contact the Developers Customer Service
Even without your agent the developers office can tell you the expected key collection schedule

If it is a Resale Condo already completed
1 Check the Option to Purchase or Sale and Purchase Agreement
The completion date and vacant possession date are stated there
Most resale completions take eight to twelve weeks from exercising the Option to Purchase
2 Ask Your Conveyancing Lawyer
Even if your agent is gone your lawyer will know the completion timeline and when keys will be released
3 Check With the Seller Directly through your lawyer
If there was an agreed extension of stay for the seller that will be in the contract Otherwise you can move in right after completion and key handover
