Hi mabel,

You need to return a $30,000 cash to HDB if you getting another direct HDB.

If you upgrade your current flat to a bigger one after selling, and getting a hdb loan. The cash proceed you earn need not give half of it. Unless the next flat you remain 3 rooms or smaller then you need to give half of your cash proceed.
