I ask a property agent to find an apartment after putting the LOI we signed then we decided not to go on with it. The property agent then request that we pay them a service fee is this a legal that the agent is doing?

suggestion: continue to use the service of the agt until a suitable unit is found. pay the agt the agreed service fee...
