I am single, above 35 and looking at buying a 2-room flexi BTO flat. However, I am currently unemployed for the past year due to health issues, and therefore don't qualify for the EHG or other grants. I wish to ask if I were to pay for the BTO flat in full using cash, without taking any grants, will I still be eligible for the EHG or other grants in future, either when I apply for another BTO, or if I choose to buy a resale flat by then.
